When we started building AI agents, we ran into the same problem every team runs into: the moment an agent is deployed, you lose sight of what it's doing.

No behavioral record. No way to know when scope expanded. No signal before something went wrong. The observability tooling that existed for traditional software: logs, traces, monitors, was not built for systems that reason and decide autonomously.
